Families First Advice Line
The Families First Advice Line was established in 2015 under the Families First umbrella. The service was implemented as a result of the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act and offers the information, advice, and assistance provision that is required by all local authorities.
The Families First Advice Line is the first point of contact for parents, carers, and professionals who have, or are working with children age 0-18 residing in the Vale of Glamorgan, offering information, advice, and assistance on a range of areas.
The Families First Advisors offer a personal service with an aim of listening to and assessing the strengths and needs of each family.
The Families First Advice Line is the single point of entry for several services across the Vale of Glamorgan. These include:

- The Vale Youth Wellbeing Service
- Team Around the Family: FACT
- Flying Start Outreach
- Parent/Young Carers Assessment
