With many pharmacies no longer ordering medication for patients, you may now need to take responsibility for ordering your medication.

The easiest and quickest way is to use the NHS Wales App.

You can also continue to use My Health Online to order your repeat prescription, but this system is being superseded by the NHS Wales App and will be decommissioned in July 2024.

Alternatively, you can bring your repeat slip to the practice or write a letter requesting medication if you cannot find your repeat slip.

Please allow 72 hours for us to process the request and allow your local community pharmacy an additional 24 hours to dispense your medication.

Hospital Prescriptions

You should contact the department/clinic concerned in order to ensure you are able to collect your medication from the hospital pharmacy. We are unable to convert hospital prescriptions into GP prescriptions and cannot accept them at the reception desk.

Upon hospital discharge you should be supplied with a minimum of at least 7 days worth of medication. We usually recieve an electronic discharge letter if the medication needs to be added to your repeat prescription, or changed.
